In Short...
I have been an arts professional since 1979 working variously in the visual
and performing arts. During this time I have been involved in over 40 visual art
exhibitions in Melbourne, Brisbane & Tasmania. I have instigated and co-ordinated
several artist run galleries and curated at the Jackman Gallery in St. Kilda.
In the performing arts I worked mainly as a scenic artist, productions including
'Phantom of the Opera', 'Sunset Boulevard', 'Swan Lake' for the Hong Kong Ballet,
'The Deep End' & `The Red Shoes' for the Australian Ballet, 'The King & I' for
Dodger Productions, New York while working with Scenic Studios in Melbourne. Also
I worked for 3 years with Brisbane's Grin & Tonic Theatre Troupe making sets and
props in the mid 80's and was Production Manager at La Boite Theatre 86' - 87'.
